Engine e.g. diesel engine, discharge pressure simulating device for test bench, has control valve comprising support body, and wall maintenance rod adjusting gas passage section between complete closed and open positions
The device has a rotating type control valve e.g. butterfly control valve, comprising a support body (20) traversed by a cylindrical pipe (2). A wall maintenance rod (3) is connected to a rotation control unit around a transversal axis for adjusting gas passage section between complete closed and open positions. A median plane of the wall is perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the pipe in the closed position.
