Confidential information e.g. radiological result, providing method for medical analysis laboratory, involves allowing patient to access medical analysis result data when entered and stored access codes are same
The method involves storing personal data and medical analysis result data related to a patient in a database (21) of a server (13) connected to an automaton terminal (1). The patient enters a reserved access code through a keyboard (7a) once a personal chip card (6) is inserted in a chip card reader (5). The patient is allowed to access the result data, when entered and stored access codes are the same. An independent claim is also included for a data processing unit for selectively providing certain confidential information to an identified user.
