A bakery has an assembly to roll dough balls into lengths (12b) for subsequent looping into pretzel shapes. The assembly has a pre-former station (1), horn winder (2) a dough-rope roller (3) located under the horn winder, and a conveyer belt (3a). The assembly has a horn length roller (4) with an inlet (5) and an outlet (6) extending between the horn winder (2) and dough-rope roller (3). The horn length roller has a second conveyer belt (4a) and a second pressure plate (4b). The horn length roller has an outlet guide (7) extending to the first conveyer belt (3a). The guide is a spirally plaited chain.
