The system has a photovoltaic unit (12) for roofage or open space assembling. Electrical connecting lines (16) transfer direct current voltage to an electrical hand-over point (18) and/or to an inverter (19). A thermal fuse (20) is provided in the electrical connecting lines between the photovoltaic unit and the electrical hand-over point. The thermal fuse has a preset marginal temperature that corresponds to the temperature of fire.
