Sign language translating device for use by deaf person, has computer determining preset word orders from signals of camera that are under evaluation of detected movements of person`s arms and transmitting determined orders to loud speaker
The device has a housing supported at a neck, a camera arranged in the front side of housing and a computer accommodated in the housing. Wristbands are provided with acceleration sensors to transmit detected movements of arms of a person to the computer. The computer determines preset word orders from signals of the camera that are under evaluation of detected movements and transmits to a loud speaker arranged on top side of the housing. The camera and the speaker are retrofitted with an integrated display.
