The windmill has a current generator assembled with a start-up switch-combination consisting of a star contactor, interlocking contactor and delta contactor. The generator has a switch operated without an automatic unit during starting and started up under star connection operation up to the maximum load. A stronger wind enforces a shift to delta connection, which is effected in the load area of over 33 percent of generator-capacity.
