The thermometer (1) measure a body temperature of a person. The measurement is carried out in short time interval and the measured values are given to a data logging station (2) over a radio communication. A lamp displays at a corresponding temperature monitor that the measured value exceeds a limit value and an alarm is selectively released if the temperature is too high. The measured value is stored in the data logging station. An independent claim is also included for a data logging station.
