Lunging rein unit for walking, trotting or cantering horse around trainer, has light, rigid case with anti-slip handle containing robust rein with winding- and stop mechanisms
The rein (4) casing (1) has an integral handle, with reeling- and stopping mechanisms. The robust roller (3) accommodates a rein at least 10m long. This rein has especially high resistance against deterioration under the effects of weather and tension. The spiral spring (5) exerts the minimum tension required to hold the 10m rein firmly. By selection of its material and form, a minimum life of 3yrs is obtained under constant stressing. The carabiner hook (6) fastened at the start of the strap, is easily detached, very weather resistant, and adequately strong.
