The visor aid has a retaining unit (1) provided at a side of a camera and connected to a housing of a camera by a connecting unit. A movable mirror is connected to the unit (1) by a hinge (2) and deflects the view angle of a viewer on a display of the camera. The mirror is fixed in a mirror holder that is connected to the hinge. The unit (1) has a longitudinal slot that slides under the head of a fastening screw.
