The gasket seals a passage formed on a sealing plate (10) of a cylinder head. The passage corresponds to each chamber opening (14,16,18,20). The gasket is made of rustproof steel conforming European standard EN 10088 for specified materials, where the steel has solution-glow condition and went through cold-roll process with a tensile strength of 1000 Newton per square millimeter. Rabbet flange (34) is formed at the boundary region of the gasket. An independent claim is included for the use of steel sheet in making the gasket.
