A triple effect image is produced by a number of parallel vertical narrow strips set onto a background. The background is printed with a background image while the strips are printed with different part images on both sides. The part images, as seen from either the left or right hand angles, combine into a single image effect, providing the viewing angle is more than a preset value. Viewing at angles between normal and either side angle provides a combines side image on a background.
