The hydraulic control circuit for a hydraulic motor has a valve unit(230) with at least one intermediate switching position(230-Z) between the two switching positions(230-A,230-B) allocated to the subject switching process. In the intermediate position, and preferably through throttling of the flow medium supply of the motor working chambers(220-2), the feed side(222) is connected to the drain side(224) via a restrictor orifice(231). The piloting of the valve unit takes place in such a way that a valve body is movable with a controlled speed via the intermediate position. An independent claim is included for a radial piston motor equipped with the proposed hydraulic control circuit.
