Rotary slide valve e.g. for servo steering mechanisms in motor vehicles, has torsion bar, rotary valve and control connector and rotary valve has pressure channel supplying hydraulic medium under pressure
The rotary valve has a torsion bar, a rotary valve and a control connector. The rotary valve has a pressure channel, supplying hydraulic medium under pressure. A twist of the rotary valve is provided in dependence of a guide to the control connector by the hydraulic medium from the pressure channel, which is at pressure and applied to the hydraulic support of a steering movement. The rotary valve connects to a bore (11) of the pressure channel (9) and provides a return area for the hydraulic medium. The return area (10) is formed by the interior of the rotary valve. The bore (11) is locked by a pressure-dependent opening catch element (12, 16). The catch element opens the bore (11) with a defined pressure being exceeded in the pressure channel (9), so that hydraulic medium of the pressure channel can flow into the return area (10). The catch element (12) is designed as a flexible element such as a plastic ring, which flexibly deforms depending on the pressure.
