Garment data collecting method for clothing industry, involves pricing garment at end of simulation of manufacturing cost, and printing garment price by electronic data processing printer, where cost is simulated for countries and materials
The method involves selecting parts of a garment and computing material costs based on the lengths and widths of the garment through the selection of the components. Manufacturing cost for different countries and materials is simulated based on price and mass of the material. The garment is priced at the end of the simulation and the price is print by an electronic data processing printer. Length and width data are transferred over an interface to control the components e.g. pressure spring (7), of a sewing machine and to control a CAD cutter.
