The generator has a multiplying digital to analog converter outputting a preset analog voltage formed by ground, reference and initial voltages and a digital signal. A comparator (230) outputs a direct current voltage detected by comparing the analog and ground voltages, where the comparator is implemented using a two stage operational amplifier. A data storage unit stores a preset digital signal related to the DC voltage. An independent claim is also included for a random number generator comprising a random bit generator and a digital post processor.
