The damper has a carrier unit (12) coupled with a vibration mass (14) by a spring arrangement, where the vibration has a metal body from a cast material. The arrangement has a flexible connection unit (20) that includes a circulating cylindrical support body. The connection unit (20) is arranged in an area of mass centre of gravity of the vibration mass and manufactured from an elastomer material such as natural rubber.
