Stabilizer for motor vehicle`s wheel suspension, has insert plastically deformed at oblate ends of hollow profile section to seal ends of section, where insert is made up of thermally processed material such as plastic material
The stabilizer has a hollow profile section with oblate ends (2), and an insert (3) is plastically deformed at the ends for sealing the ends of the section. The insert is made up of a thermally processed material such as plastic material. The ends exhibit fastening openings perpendicular to its oblateness, where the openings are spaced apart from free edges of the ends. The section has a circular cross-section in a non-oblated area and extends over the entire length of the stabilizer. An independent claim is also included for a method for sealing a stabilizer.
