The wheel has a camshaft sensor for an internal combustion engine. The wheel is formed so that an angle range (24a) of the wheel is distinguishable from an angle range (24b) of the wheel based on distinguishing characteristics. The partial angle ranges are so formed within the angle ranges such that they are defined in a distinguishing manner from one another and each partial angle range comprises the distinguishing characteristics.
