Coil spring structure has lattice-like alloying element which fills up gaps between some of windings of coil spring while leaving other gaps between other windings free under normal loads
A flexible lattice-like alloying element (2), consisting of crossing bars (4) of X-section connected together by thickened junctions (3), fills up the gaps between some of the windings of a coil spring (1). The alloying element also frees up the gaps between the other windings subjected to normal loads.
