Dual fuel heating system, for central heating and/or hot water, has a conventional boiler using fossil fuels or electricity and an additional boiler using another fuel
The dual fuel central heating system has a conventional system with a boiler (1) heated by gas or oil or electricity, serving a central heating and/or hot water circuit. A second boiler (2) with a buffer store (3) has a hydraulic connection with the existing circuits for the user to have the choice of using one or other of the boilers, or both, for a water tank (5) taking water from the buffer irrespective of which boiler is in use.
