UV irradiation device for acting upon biological cellular structures, especially the skin, for medical and therapeutic purposes, has means for matching UV exposure geometries to those areas requiring treatment
Device for UV irradiation of biological cellular structures, especially skin cells, has a radiation source, an illumination device and an adjustment device. It further has means for detecting cell structures to be irradiated and for matching the irradiation geometry to the geometry of the detected cell structures, preferably using a light modulator such as a DMD or LCD. An independent claim is made for a method for UV irradiation of biological cell structures.
