The method involves terminating sinusoidal interfering signals, and determining an individual sinusoidal interfering signal in a subspace containing an intoxication portion using an estimation procedure. Overall frequency range is divided into several frequency bands, where the frequency bands consist of frequency-band measuring signal of the terminated sinusoidal interfering signals and a white intoxication signal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for identification of sinusoidal signals from an intoxication signal (2) a method for removing sinusoidal interfering signals from an intoxication signal (3) a system for removing sinusoidal interfering signals from an intoxication signal.
