The lift has lifting rails (5, 6) fastening and raising and/or lowering a window pane (40) and adjusted by lifting arms (2, 3). The lifting rails have two parts, which are movable relative to each other in a fastening position to fasten the window pane by a form-fit or frictional-fit at the lifting rails. The window pane is inserted into an area for fastening the window pane at the lifting rails.
