Camera offset determining method for motor vehicle`s augmented reality system, involves determining offset of camera position and orientation of camera marker in framework from camera table-position and orientation in framework
The method involves determining camera position and orientation of a camera marker (6) in a framework by a tracking system. An image of a reference marker (7) is recorded by a camera and evaluated by an evaluation unit to determine a camera table-position and orientation in the framework. An offset of the camera position and orientation from the camera table-position and orientation is determined, using an offset determining unit. An independent claim is also included for a device for determining a camera offset, comprising a tracking system.
