The vehicle has gear wheels (3, 4) arranged in a gear housing (2) such that a lower area (5) of the housing is partially filled with a gear oil. The housing, a gear oil reservoir, an oil conveyor system and a quantity of oil circulating in the housing are coordinated in such a manner that the reservoir sags in the housing on a level, with which the gear wheels are not immersed in the gear oil during operation of a vehicle.
