The vehicle brake booster (10), with a moving wall (16) within a housing (12) to define an underpressure chamber (18) and a working chamber (20), has a control valve (22) to set the pressure difference at the wall. The control valve has an axial housing (26) with two valves (50,58) with ring-shaped valve seats (44,52). The valve seats are separated axially, with a fixed valve component (46) at the first valve seat (44) and an axially moving valve component (54) at the second valve seat (52) in relation to the housing.
