The method involves activating a process for a new navigation route (L1) when a vehicle deviates from an original navigation route (L0). Knots are compared until a similar route knot is found. The process is terminated beyond the similar knot, and the rest of the route (L0) is replicated beyond the knot in the route (L1) to form a new route.
