The system has a storage device provided for a 3D-model (9) and for a process value, and a navigator (10) integrated with an interaction area (5). A history (4) from the storage device is selected as an active history (6) for the process value by the interaction area of the navigator. An arbitrary data set of the active history is selected as a starting point of rendition by the interaction area of the navigator. An independent claim is also included for a method for reproducing a process situation in a 3D-scene.
