The strip has two ends, in which one end forms an insulation displacement region for an electrical conductor and the other end forms a contact strip region for a support block. The displacement region carries flat, slotted insulation displacement connectors (2f). Connecting units (2g) are arranged in multiple rows such that the connectors of the units lie in the strip for placing the plug-in contacts of the units in a row.
