Method for perspective portrayal of a land area on a computer monitor in which a user (N1-3) requests a server (S1-3) to process information and provide data for a perspective view of an area. The server runs software to combine photographic data (P) provided by an image supplier (BA) with altitude data (H) from which the required perspective view can be created.
