Method for locally increasing the temperature on a surface of an article, comprises contacting at least a di- or polycyanate liquid (A), optionally in mixture with one or more monocyanate (A1) on the surface, and then with at least a liquid amine (A2), or vice versa. An independent claim is also included for 2-component connecting material comprising a kit with di- or polycyanate liquid material and an amine material, which is packed separately.
