The method involves measuring actual traffic data, comparing with stored measured data, selecting a proportion of the measured data based on the traffic data, and providing the proportion as predicted road-related parameters. The measured traffic data are analyzed in terms of time and space associations. The stored measured data include time-space patterns, and when selecting the proportion of measured data, the time-space associations and/or patterns are taken into account. Independent claims are included for a computer program product, and a traffic control center.
