The camera has an image sensor (3) and a lens (2). The lens is designed such that a coverage area (9) is increased in a horizontal direction based on the size given by the aspect ratio of the image sensor. The horizontal scale in the boundary areas is larger than in a middle area in relation to increase of the coverage area. The lens consists of a radial symmetrical part and a non radial symmetrical part.
