Managerial indices generation and assessment method in health care, is based on medical fact coding and care provider parameters, uses central data bank, and returns report to care provider
The codings (based e.g. on international classification of diseases, medical procedures and diagnosis-related groups) and the parameters are transmitted to a central data processing unit to be tested for plausibility and formatting. They are transferred into a data bank, grouped, and case fees are calculated. Each index is calculated and composed in accordance with instructions using the data bank then assessed. A report describing them and the assessments is produced, with results made available to the care provider : An independent claim is included for the corresponding system.
