Cooled valve seat ring (3) comprises ring parts (4, 5) forming an annular flow channel (6) which is integrated via inlet and outlet holes in one of the ring parts after pressing into the cylinder head (1) forming a pressing seat surface in the coolant circulation of an I.C. engine. Preferred Features: One ring part has a fixing part, a valve seat receiving the valve and a middle region and the other ring part covers the middle region with the cooling channel opposite the cylinder head.
