The plate has two metal fittings (11, 12), in which the fitting (12) includes a recess (14), whose peripheral area of the recess on the side of the door includes an indentation (15). An adjusting shim (13) is inserted into the recess. A rectangular surface support (16b) of the indentation has a length larger than the rectangular support surfaces of the shim such that the shim moves in a transverse direction to adjust a clearance of the recess (14).
