FIELD: agriculture, in particular, working out of novel processes for growing of herbage on degraded pasture lands.;SUBSTANCE: method involves sowing and growing cultures on natural pastures through utilization of various processes aimed at improvement of plant habitat conditions; determining effectiveness of said processes. Test cultures are kinds of plants not eaten up by animals, such as harmala (P. harmala). It allows test cultures to be kept throughout the whole growing period and growth factor and biomass accumulation factor to be compared with various versions of test, to thereby reveal the most efficient culture with regard to the extent of influence upon culture existence conditions.;EFFECT: increased efficiency without necessity of utilizing additional means for protecting of test cultures from being eaten by animals.
