A flooding prevention structure of a low land of downtown is provided to cut down expenses, and to prevent a river from overflowing by continuously installing cylindrical cofferdams in an upper part of an embankment. A flooding prevention structure includes a cofferdam(2) vertically installed in an upper part of a river embankment(50), formed semi-circularly to form a cylinder in assembling two cofferdams with flanges and filled with earth and sand to form habitats of plants and insects and to bear overflowing of a river by increasing strength, a bolt hole formed in the flange to fix the cofferdam cylindrically, a bolt and a nut inserted to the bolt hole to combine the coffer dam, and a connecting unit integrally connecting plural cofferdams. The cofferdams are combined or separated by bending an end of the flange with the connecting unit, and the connecting unit is formed of a fitting assembling part. Strength is improved to prevent the river from overflowing by cylindrically forming the cofferdams.
