PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facing member for the periphery of an opening, which facilitates construction and which is excellent in appearance designability and weatherability, a construction structure for the periphery of the opening, and a construction method for the periphery of the opening.;SOLUTION: The facing member 10 for the periphery of the opening, which is arranged around the opening 5 of a building, comprises upper, lower, right and left L-joiners 100 which are arranged along the four upper, lower, right and left sides of the opening, and upper, lower, and right and left casing members 11 which are engaged with the L-joiners 100 and fixed to a front surface 20 of a bed material 2. The L-joiner 100 comprises a front plate part, an inside plate part, and a joiner-side engaging part.
