The invention relates to novel material having unique and outstanding acoustic properties due to a new technical function providing an exceptional listening comfort to the user, and confining the sounds to the booth or space, i.e. with a very low emission of sound toward the outside while also highly reducing even powerful emissions of sound coming from the outside. The inventive material comprises an area (1) that reflects the sound waves, particularly a smooth area, combined with an absorbent area (2) that is, in particular, perforated.
