An access is made possible from an application operating on a common PC thereby to simulate according to an instruction from that application. An interface module (105) disposed in a sequencer simulator (102) analyzes data communication information (201) from a user application (107) or a display simulator (106), and realizes a write in a simulator (103) of an arbitrary station No. (205). The interface module (105) sends, in case the analysis result of the data communication information (201) received is the absence of the station No. or the read/write instruction to the register, error information (208) to the demanding user application or display simulator. The error information (208) is displayed in a PC screen (110) and noticed to the user. As a result, the user can effectively debug the program generation mistake or the setting mistake in the user application or the display simulator.
