摘要
Three-dimensional (3D) grey-value data from MRT or CT (X-ray tomography) are binary segmented with versions of suitable algorithms for medicinal and general imagery. 3D vessel shapes produced are used for a resolved numeric simulation of flow in cubic calculated grids with lattice-Boltzmann flow resolution. The required boundary conditions are taken from data banks or individual non-invasive measurements. When wall dynamics are important these are also simulated. Implants, vasal grafts extant plaques etc. are identified in patients and included in the simulation geometry. In addition virtual geometry changes (not yet present in patients), for example, implants for introduction, vessel parts of removal etc. are also included in the geometry description for calculation, in order to permit a prior precise estimation of the effects thereof for the medical planning of the relevant operative procedures. Implants, the fine structure of which cannot be resolved on the calculated grid, are modelled as elastic porous bodies.
