[PROBLEMS] To provide an electromagnetic wave trouble solving method and an electromagnetic wave trouble solving device for a building capable of selectively receiving an electromagnetic wave and enabling communication even when electromagnetic waves coming from various direction on an upper floor of a high-rise building interfere one another. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] For example, a diffraction grating (21) formed by an electromagnetic wave absorber or an electromagnetic wave shield material is arranged at a window (12) as an entrance of the electromagnetic wave into a room (11) of a building. For this, an electromagnetic wave arriving at the building can enter the room (11) only via a small opening of the diffraction grating (21) and its advance direction when entering the room (11) is regulated by the diffraction. Accordingly, in the room (11) there are generated a region having a strong electromagnetic wave and a region having a weak electromagnetic wave. Electromagnetic waves arriving from a plurality of directions are similarly diffracted to cause strong and weak regions of the electromagnetic wave in the room (11) and one of the electromagnetic wave can be received in its strong region without being affected by the interference. Thus, it is possibleto use a mobile telephone on an upper floor of a high-rise building, for example.
