A method of producing fluids from a subterranean formation (10) through asingle well (1) in a network of separate well-bores,comprising the steps of forming a well (1) having a horizontal section (3)located within the formation (10), completing and equipping suchwell (1) to produce fluids from the formation (10), producing fluids from theformation through such well (1); forming at least one additionalwell (2) having a horizontal section (4) located within the formation (10)such that such well (3) is in fluid communication with the firstwell (1), without intersecting with the horizontal section (3) of the firstwell (1), and using such additional well (2) as a conduit withinthe formation to allow and cause fluids contained in the formation which drainor flow into the horizontal section (4) of such additionalwell-bore, to flow to and be produced through the first well-bore (1).
