Multisensory system for monitoring alertness of driver of vehicle, has visual monitoring subsystem, measuring subsystem and position measurement subsystem merged together to obtain global warning parameter that triggers alarm
The system has a visual monitoring subsystem that monitors state of a driver of a vehicle by an image capturing mechanism and an intelligent synchronized lighting unit. A measuring subsystem measures a lateral position of the vehicle, and variable movements of a steering wheel of the vehicle. A position measurement subsystem monitors distance of a center part of the vehicle. The visual monitoring subsystem, the measuring subsystem and the position measurement subsystem are merged together to obtain a global warning parameter that triggers an alarm.
