Treatment of an aqueous rock slurry (I) involves (a) adding cement as binder, (b) partially setting and hardening (I) within a predetermined holding and reaction time, during which (I) is stored and/or transported and after which (I) has a friable (or at least no longer mobile slurry) structure and (c) consolidating and/or immobilizing the obtained pretreated (I) to give a building material, by adding aggregates.
