The machine has disc or roller tools (12) that work according to the undercut principle and are rotatably mounted on a hinged extension arm (8). The rotation axis (9) of the cutting head runs along the extension arm axis (20) and is supported at the machine frame (1) about an axis (7) intersecting the extension arm axis and running in the advancing direction (10) in front of the extension arm pivoting axis.
