Hereby explained is a possibility to leave out a examination of sub synchronous and super asynchronous revolvement of motors, when needed to set only a component of high frequency loss in idle motion due to higher spatial harmonics of MMF stator (PHF, f0n ). Thereby, a simplified procedure for separation of the component (PHF, f0n ) of high frequency loss of idle motion is drawn to the known examination of motor in idle motion (1,2,3), along with additional measuring of motor sliding by means of stroboscopic method. It proves that there is a possibility to set value of coefficient of saturation for higher harmonics (Ksh) based on the results for measuring according to the simplified procedure. Value of high frequency loss in load (PHF, fn) in a rotor of asynchronous machine in nominal mode, that matches to the component of load current be calculated by means of PHF, fn = PHF, f0n ú I2fn-I20)/ I20, where PHF, f0n - of the value of the component of high frequency loss in idle motion at nominal voltage having been ahead determined.;Pokazano je da je mogue izostaviti ogled podsinhronog i nadsinhronog obrtanja motora, kada je potrebno da se odredi samo komponenta visokofrekventnih gubitaka prazngo hoda zbog viih prostornih harmonika MMF statora (PHF, f0n).
