The method for predicting the acute conditions of the disease in the patients with paranoid schizophrenia comprises the analysis of the serum of the patients assaying the content of the circulating immune complexes. When the content of the circulating immune complexes exceeds 2.6 g/L, the development of the acute conditions in schizophrenic patients is highly probable (90.7+- 3.6 %). The value of 2.5 g/L and below indicates that the exacerbation of the process is rather improbable.
