A method of biological control of the amount of populations of noctuids (Lepidoptera, Noctuidae) includes the use of preventive and eradication measures in the vegetation period. Agrotechnical techniques, in particular tillage, cultivation and loosening of interrows of fields, are carried out in the egg-laying and pupation periods critical for the populations of the noctuids. The noctiud egg parasite Trichogramma pintoi Voeg. is used by means of the direct release into forest belts, around the periphery of fields and on fields, and the parasite of caterpillars of the noctuids Habrobracon hebetor Say. is used by means of settling thereof in forest belts and fields. Rates of consuming the enthomophages and multiplicity of the releases depend on the level of the initial amount of a population of the noctuids.
